New Benchmark workstations in K-3 at John Adams were a hit! They included: drawing animal characters, listening to and sequencing nursery rhymes, story Legos to make a setting & characters to tell our stories, and sorting capital & lowercase letters while practicing their sounds. #truenorthbrunswick

The KickStart Literacy lesson at JA had students unscrambling their names! It was the perfect activity after reading Chicka Chicka Boom Boom for our read-aloud. We pretended our names fell off of the tree and needed sorting out! #truenorthbrunswick

Mrs. Ross’s 2nd graders at John Adams had a special parent visitor teach them about Diwali. The students decorated diyas, a clay pot. #TrueNorthBrunswick #YayJA #GoJaguars 🐾
